Scrapbook

My students have been busy the last several days creating pages for the scrapbook I will take to show about American life. The students began by brainstorming ideas as a class and evaluating which topics and information were the most important to include. They planned their individual pages, then wrote paragraphs to describe their topics. Spanish-speaking students, along with Angie (my assistant) and myself, translated them into Spanish. Finally, students assembled the pages in their own style. They've done an outstanding job so far!

Here are a few of their pages.

  1. Great pages. What a great way to teach other kids about America.
